The commissioner believes that we
must continue to improve every
neighborhood because no one should
have to move out of their community
to live in a better neighborhood.
Lastly, but certainly not
leastly, throughout all of
his Philanthropic work;
Commissioner Hardemon
was able to find true love
when he met his wife,
author Adia Kamaria, in
Overtown. They quietly
dated while he gave
much of his time to
serving his community.
Then, on the anniversary
of their first date, he
proposed in fairy tale style
in Paris with the Eiffel
Tower perfectly focused in
the background.
Today, they have a three-year-
old daughter named Kai
and are expecting their
second daughter in
the spring of 2020.
Adia calls their life
together her dream
come true.
