Every year Johnson Lumber distributes small American flags to the spectators. Since 1996 Johnson Lumber has handed out 57,456 flags to out-stretched hands along the parade route!

This red Chinese lion dancer from the Sifu Meng International Kumg Fu Academy makes friends with one of the littlest spectators along the parade route. Sifu Meng’ s Kung Fu Academy teacher kung fu, gymnastics, dragon and lion dancing which are forms of traditional dance in the Chinese culture.
Honored Parade Guest, Frank Sanchez, is a World War II American hero. He received the World War II Victory Medal, the European, African, Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the American Campaign Medal. Thank you for your service to America!
With flags flying, the Morgan Hill Sobrato High School Marching Band and Colorguard delighted the crowds with their rendition of the Washington Post March by John Phillip Sousa. The Sobrato Band and Colorguard participated in their first National competition last fall in New York City.
Paramit Corporation,( a Freedom Fest Sponsor) in keeping with the Parade theme, presented their version of the fairy tale,“ The Old Lady in the Shoe” with the Old Lady and her many kids enjoying all of the 4th of July festivities. The judges really liked it and awarded them a 1st Place trophy in the Business and Professional Float category.
