Congratulations to St. Catherine Church, Winner of the Grand Sweepstakes Award! For the last three years the team at St. Catherine Church have produced award-winning floats! Their depiction of the Parade theme, “America, My Home Sweet Home” featured a backyard bar-b-que and a huge American flag with the names of each of the States displayed in the white stripes earning them a 1st Place Am- ateur and Non-Profit Musical Float trophy. In addition, the professional parade judges liked their float so much that they awarded them the best of the best – the Grand Sweepstakes Award! Congratulations to you all! Congratulations to Commonwealth Central Credit Union, winner of the Most Patriotic Award The professional parade judges selected the CommonWealth float as being the Most Patriotic this year as well as awarding them a 2nd Place trophy in the Business and Professional Float category. Their float depicted an all-American neighborhood celebrating the 4th of July with a bar-b-que. All of the neighbors, family, and friends were gathered around picnic tables and spilled out into the street! The whole gang was there! With two branch locations in Morgan Hill, Common- Wealth actively supports their local community through student scholarships and local charities. They are proud to once again be a major sponsor of the Freedom Fest July 4th Parade. Congratulations to The Little Gym, Winner of the Theme Award The Little Gym’s float was so cute! Their interpretation of the theme really caught the eyes of the judges who awarded them not only a 1st Place Business and Professional Musi- cal float trophy, but the trophy for the Parade Theme as well!
