Congratulations to
St. Catherine Church,
Winner of the Grand
Sweepstakes Award!
For the last three years the
team at St. Catherine Church
have produced award-winning
floats! Their depiction of the
Parade theme, “America, My
Home Sweet Home” featured
a backyard bar-b-que and a
huge American flag with the
names of each of the States
displayed in the white stripes
earning them a 1st Place Am-
ateur and Non-Profit Musical
Float trophy. In addition, the
professional parade judges
liked their float so much
that they awarded them the
best of the best – the Grand
Sweepstakes Award!
Congratulations to you all!
Congratulations to
Commonwealth Central
Credit Union, winner of
the Most Patriotic Award
The professional parade judges
selected the CommonWealth float
as being the Most Patriotic this
year as well as awarding them a
2nd Place trophy in the Business
and Professional Float category.
Their float depicted an all-American
neighborhood celebrating the 4th
of July with a bar-b-que. All of the
neighbors, family, and friends were
gathered around picnic tables and
spilled out into the street! The whole
gang was there! With two branch
locations in Morgan Hill, Common-
Wealth actively supports their
local community through student
scholarships and local charities. They
are proud to once again be a major
sponsor of the Freedom Fest July
4th Parade.
Congratulations
to The Little Gym,
Winner of the
Theme Award
The Little Gym’s float
was so cute! Their
interpretation of the
theme really caught the
eyes of the judges who
awarded them not only
a 1st Place Business
and Professional Musi-
cal float trophy, but the
trophy for the Parade
Theme as well!
Congratulations!!!
