Upon your arrival you’ll be directed by our friendly volunteers for check-in at registration. After
registration head over to pick-up your tote bag.
Go deeper. Start off the event with light complimentary breakfast items then head on over to
our vendor fair. Learn first-hand form our participating vendors how their products can help in-
crease fundraising funds for your PTA.
Get insights. No matter what your area of interest, you’ll benefit from our speakers. Learn
from experts such as: CAPTA President Justine Fisher, Knights Insurance representative
Manuel Hamme, CAPTA School Smarts Lynn Miyamoto & CAPTA Advocate Celia Jaffe.
Sit in on Building your Middle School and High School PTSA workshop, which will be moderat-
ed by Vice-president of Membership Candi Kern who will guide the high school panelists about
lessons-learned and strategies for PTSA membership.
Get inspired. With over 20 workshops available, you can focus on just one area for the entire
event or mix it up with different topics. Customize your schedule with themes ranging from PTA
administration, Insurance Procedures, Arts Advocacy, to using 21 st Century technology to ben-
efit the success of your PTA.
Get into the mix. During lunch hangout and network with likeminded colleagues, while sharing
your experiences and enthusiasm. Make sure to visit the vendor fair before heading back to
the afternoon workshop session.
Get resourced. Stop by the PTA store to pick-up Advocacy Handbook binder, Transition
binder, Secretary bound books, convention collectible t-shirts and more.
