After pressing the ‘OFF’ button, Rena slowly made her way out of bed. She washed up and went to prepare breakfast. In ten minutes, a plate of eggs and bacon was set onto the table. Rena went to change and grab her bag before eating breakfast, Five minutes later, she emerged from her bedroom and sat down and enjoyed her breakfast. Once she placed the dirty dishes in the sink, Rena grabbed her school bag along with her umbrella and headed out the door.

During the walk, Rena felt calm and relaxed, despite the memories the rain brought. The steady drizzling of the rain calmed her senses and the steady beat of the rain coming into contact with the ground, buildings, and other objects create a melody that relaxes Rena’s nerves. Somehow, the very thing that brought distraught memories was able to bring her to the most calm and relaxing state she has ever been.

After a fifteen minute walk, Rena could see the entrance of her new school, Otsukimi High School. Standing near the gates of the school was a girl Rena knew all too well.
