When the door closed, Rena watched her friend walk away with her black umbrella shielding her from the droplets of rain.She stood up from her place and headed toward the kitchen to get something to satisfy her stomach. She lived in a four room apartment: a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and a bathroom. It was a nice, cozy place. the baby blue walls added an extra touch of comfort and brightness to the apartment. After getting a granola bar out of the cupboard, she went to her room and read a book until it was time to sleep. School was starting tomorrow, and she would need all the energy she could get for her first day back to school as a freshman in high school.
