Igniting Our Mission – A Celebration of Fordham Prep
What a party! Over 500 parents, alumni, faculty and friends
came together on March 2 for our Igniting Our Mission
celebration heralding the groundbreaking of the East Wing
Project this spring. The event raised $420,000 with two
additional gifts totaling $100,000 to support the Prep's
East Wing Project.
Thank you to all our event sponsors, underwriters, journal
advertisers and every attendee who helped make this
celebration such a success. Whether you joined us in
person, were a sponsor, made a donation, participated in
our community mass, purchased a Ram Raffle ticket or
simply kept us in your prayers, we are grateful for your
generosity and contribution to our mission.
Forum on Faith Mr. DiFato becomes Dr. DiFato
On March 10, Fordham Prep, along with America Media, hosted a panel discussion,
"Finding Hope and Joy in a Troubled Church," with Fr. James Martin, SJ, editor
at large for America magazine, and Colleen Dulle, Assistant Producer for
America magazine and co-host & producer of the podcast "Inside the Vatican."
The discussion was moderated by Maurice Timothy Reidy '93. Science Department Chair
Anthony DiFato '99 successfully
defended his doctoral dissertation
for completion of his doctoral degree
in Fordham University's Graduate
School of Education. Congratulations,
Dr. DiFato!
