New Faculty and Staff
Fordham Prep is pleased to welcome a cohort of new faculty and staff to our community this year . They collectively bring a wealth of experience to serve our students with confidence and commitment to the mission and values of the Prep .
Dr . Petriello , John Murtagh , Chad Broussard , Dennis Ahern , Omar Ward , James McGivney , SJ , Theresa Murray , Fr . Deveron , Anthony Palombi , Adrian Newell , Corey Punter , Maryann Casaccio-Ortiz
Mr . Chad Broussard joins the Prep as our new Assistant Principal for Academics and Student Life . He brings a broad range of professional experience to the position with thirteen years of administrative leadership in secondary , middle and elementary education . Chad holds a BA in Mass Communication from Xavier University of Louisiana and an MA in Education Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio . He is currently completing a Doctor of Education degree in Education Supervision and Human Services at Seton Hall University . Chad has held the roles of Academic Coordinator , Dean of Students , Assistant Principal and Principal in schools in San Antonio and New Orleans . Most recently , he served for three years as Head of School at St . Anthony High School in Jersey City , NJ .
Mrs . Maryann Casaccio-Ortiz joins our staff as Administrative Assistant with primary responsibilities for the Dean ’ s Office , Campus Ministry and our Christian Service Immersion Program . Maryann holds an undergraduate degree from Iona College . She has worked as an administrative assistant at Kids Base and the Little School in Scarsdale and as a teacher ’ s assistant at Eliza Corwin Frost Child Center in Bronxville . Maryann is the proud mother of two Prep students : Justin ’ 18 and Sean ’ 21 .
Mr . James McGivney , SJ joins our Mathematics Department as a part-time teacher of two sections of Algebra 1 . Jim entered the Society of Jesus in 2014 . A Jesuit scholastic living at Ciszek House in the Bronx , he
