Wanda Piñeiro

she assisted Prep students in need of greater guidance
for academic success.
Immensely important to Latino students who hold her in
high esteem and think of her with great respect and
fondness, Wanda was recognized at last year’s
Wanda Piñeiro began her career at Fordham Prep in 1979
as a teacher of Spanish in the Modern Languages
Multicultural Celebration. The keynote speaker, Roger
Rodriguez ’87, led a group of alumni who honored Wanda
with a special plaque in recognition of her commitment to
diversity and leadership over the past four decades.
