Waltz (Normal Panel)
This is our first Waltz. Let’s dance! The basic “normal” waltz will send damage through each player and will overlap damage if players are also overlapping. To handle this, all eight players are allocated a position around the boss (North, East, North-West etc).
-Gather around the boss at your positions (should be at full health)
-Healers can rely on regens after this mechanic for efficiency & more casting.
-Using the same positions as o1s is advised to simplify things.
-Having melee DPS in the rear/flanks handy for positionals.
Oink
Every player will get a red arrow above their heads. If not paired up you will be turned into a piggy!
-Everyone stack together behind the boss (on 1).
-Right after oink move immediately to your panel for “the game”
The Playing Field
Every tile needs to be occupied by its respective icon/role. So Tanks go on Tank panels, Healers on Healer panels etc. If you’re a piggy/not on correct panel you will fail your panel. Don’t do that.
Decide who goes left/right to occupy each panel.
If the main tank only moves to their position during the cast it will minimize boss movement.
Run back to 1 and hit the boss after! Get ready for the next phase!
