At Pedders , we pride ourselves on not only providing specialist knowledge to our customers but also to our own people . In 2022 we launched our Learning Excellence Program in recognition of the need to provide specialised and first-class learning and development opportunities to all Pedders employees , regardless of their role or location .
This blended learning program is role-type specific and has been designed and developed internally with the support and guidance of our subject matter experts . Anchored in adult learning theories and principles to ensure maximum engagement , the program structure is similar to what you would see in a university starting with the basics – Certificate level , up to more complex content ( Masters level ) across five key streams : Technical , Store Operations , Warehouse Operations , Franchise & Business
Development and People Management .
A combination of various innovative learning mediums including online , experiential , workbased , peer learning conferences , face to face workshops and coaching sessions . By ensuring our learning opportunities are innovative , interesting , practical , social and leader-led where possible , provides maximum engagement and the best opportunity for the content to be absorbed .
The program is supported by a growing L & D team comprising a Senior L & D Manager , Technical Training Manager and additional instructional designers , working together to ensure the Program content and structure is up to date in line with our growing business and incorporates best learning practices and principles .
