signs shall also include the name of the fumigant used; the fumigator’s name
and his/her address and telephone number; and the date and time of
operation. Notices shall be printed in red ink on white background. Letters in
the headlines must be at least 2 inches (51 mm) in height. A warning shall
state that the occupied premises must be vacated at least two (2) to three
(3) hours before the operation begins and shall not be reentered until the
danger signs are removed by the proper authorities.
SECTION 10.4.9.6
VENTING AND CLEANUP
At the end of the exposure period, fumigators shall safely and properly
ventilate the premises and contents and properly dispose all fumigant
containers, residues, debris and other materials used in the fumigation.
SECTION 10.4.9.7
THERMAL INSECTICIDAL FOGGING LIQUIDS
No thermal insecticidal fogging liquid with a flash point below thirty-eight
degrees Celsius (38°C) shall be used. During operation, fog shall not be
blasted directly against any combustible object or materials, e.g. Cartons,
papers, curtains and, or within 3 meters, therefrom.
SECTION 10.4.9.8
RESTRICTED FUMIGANTS
Use of Carbon Disulfide (CS 2 ) and Hydrocyanic Acid (HCN) shall be used only
in agricultural fumigations.
DIVISION 10. REPAIR GARAGES
SECTION 10.4.10.1
CONSTRUCTION
A. Repair garages shall be built in accordance with the National Building
Code, and the provisions of this Section.
B. A repair garage shall not be located within or attached to a building or
structure used for any purpose other than a repair garage unless
separated by walls and floor or floor-ceiling assemblies having a fire
resistance rating of not less than two (2) hours.
C. Any single area occupied for salesrooms, showrooms, offices, or similar
spaces shall be separated from vehicle repair or parking areas by walls
and floor or floor-ceiling assemblies having a fire resistance rating of not
less than two (2) hours.
D. Ceiling assemblies shall be constructed in such a manner as to restrict the
passage of smoke, vehicle exhaust gases, and odors from the repair or
parking area to these spaces.
