A large amount of water quality analysis work has been undertaken ( data not shown ), and although early in its synthesis , several important points can be highlighted
1 . Although potentially supplying 20 %, of the Burdekin FS Loads , Rosella and Little Bowen tributaries , have had relatively little WQ research and data capture
2 . Event samples , without detailed stream gauging have considerable value , given the low economic cost of capture
