To further explore load source , annual mean sediment concentrations can be plotted against annual discharge for the “ Bowen Myuna ” site ( Figure 4 ). Visually there is a wide scatter of concentrations present , ranging from 0.5 g / l ( 13 _ 14 WY ) to 2.1 g / l ( 15 _ 16 WY ). Interrogation of these years at finer temporal scale identifies that years with relatively low concentrations are dominated by events that are sourced from the “ Broken ” ( Figure 5 ). The opposite is true for events with a smaller proportion of water sourced from the “ Broken ” ( Figure 6 ).
