Step 8 Cutting a Sink Opening
8.1
It is critical that a sink cutout is accurately placed and cut in order for the sink to fit the space and the
mounting hardware to operate properly.
Once the top has been fit to the wall, but before any joints are assembled, measure the exact center of the
sink cabinet and transfer the mark to the underside of the top’s front.
8.2
Remove the
top and place it upside
down on sawhorses or
another suitable sur-
face that will support
the top while the sink
opening is being cut.
Mark a center line
through the opening.
