Secure the Rough Top to the
Base Cabinets using #7 x 1-5/8”
fl athead screws along all cabinet
sides and back stretchers.
Use #7 x 1-1/4” fl athead screws
at locations where it is required to
screw into a front stretcher.
Place four screws from the front
to back along each side member,
and one screw about every 10” to
12” along the front and back of the
cabinet run.
Use 1-1/4” Screws
at Front Stretcher

2.2 When fastening the Rough Top to the front stretch-
er, never use screws that will protrude through the Rough
Top and the front stretcher into a drawer or shelf space.
Protruding screw tips in these areas can cause injury to the
homeowner.
