A riverside site at Broomy Hill has two unique attractions which should be on the ‘must visit’ list of
Hereford families and are both fun and educational for children.

The old Victorian Broomy Hill waterworks
which once supplied the city with water has long
been a museum and in recent years has been expanded to include new exhibits, the latest of
which is a water park designed for children to
have hands on experience.
Next door is the Hereford Model Railway

Centre, where men and boys play trains Members
have built everything themselves over many years
and have created a wonderful facility for rides on
model steam engines and the more modern diesel
ones. The latest new attraction is a model boating
lake. The centre opens the on the second and last
Sunday of the month from Easter.
