SPEAKER ’ S BIO : Mr . Kenneth Berry , PE , is a Principal and Vice President of Berry Surveying & Engineering , which is a company that provides Land Surveying and General Civil Engineering services to the greater Seacoast area of New Hampshire . After Active-Duty service with the US Army Corps of Engineers , Mr . Berry returned to New Hampshire and has had experience with several firms culminating with his current position . As the supervising civil engineer , it is a primary responsibility to ensure that the design base plans and documents are complete and consistent . This includes the final step of compiling the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan as final permits are in place and construction is generally ready to begin . The Notice of Intent must be filed with the EPA Central Data Exchange at least two weeks prior to the initiation of construction and a SWPPP is a required item for that submittal . The compilation of the SWPPP and NOI combines all aspects of the project into a comprehensive package . ( Putting it all Together ) Holding three certifications from EnviroCert International , Inc ., ( CPSWQ , CPESC , & CESSWI ), Ken becomes involved with the active construction of projects while completing the required SWPPP Inspections with boots on the ground . This involvement in project construction makes for better future designs .
