Lambui Authorities were notified of an accident on Route 25 [Middle Country Road] between East Margin Road and Montauk Trail, that occurred just before 9:00am on Sunday, September 4th. A woman driving a Toyota Corolla, who was believed to be traveling east bound on Route 25, was severely injured and transported by Ridge Fire Department ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital after striking a utility pole. PSE&G was called to the scene to replace the damaged pole. FD Rant News - October 2016 RIDGE ROOSEVELT Early Morning Car Flip Story and Photos by Kevin Madigan Roosevelt firefighters operated on the scene of a two-vehicle accident with overturn in the early morning hours of Monday, September 5th. The accident was located on Nassau Road just north of Debevoise Avenue. The overturned auto appeared to have struck an unoccupied, parked vehicle before flipping. The driver of the overturned vehicle was able to self-extricate and was evaluated on scene for injuries and blood alcohol content. All fire department units were under the command of Assistant Chief Derrick Fennell [7301]. Page 15
