PRIOR VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE IN FCCSA AND / OR OTHER ORGANIZATIONS:
• MC Business Alliance- 2 years

• FCCSA- 2 years
• Neighborhood Rep- 7 years
MOTIVATION FOR SEEKING AN FCCSA BOARD POSITION:
As a Board member, my main goal is to provide a strong FCCSA leadership team in servicing the residents of First Colony. FCCSA and the residents should be friends. We need First Colony to be a leader to entice people to live, work and shop in our area. Part of that is to have a balanced and logical approach in leadership for everyone; residents, commercial entities, churches, and leisure amenities. That will foster a healthy community as a whole; maintain a strong value of our homes, safe and enjoyable life style and a great community for people want to buy homes here and for the rest of us to want to stay here. I have found that being on the FCCSA Board of Directors has been a great opportunity for me to help the community by sharing the benefit of my experience of 30 years as a business consultant and 15 years as a business owner in Fort Bend County. I pledge to continue that approach and to maintain an open enjoyable working relationship with our community. I chose First Colony as a home 17 years ago and felt the extra 25 % in cost of a house was good investment. I have benefited from the safety and enjoyable aspect, convenience of being close to my world, and the consistent improvement in home value. I look forward to serving for another 2 years.
JENNY HSU
Number of Years in FCCSA: 20 Neighborhood: Heritage Colony Vocation: Retired
PRIOR VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE IN FCCSA AND / OR OTHER ORGANIZATIONS:
• Heritage Colony Reps and current Board Member
MOTIVATION FOR SEEKING AN FCCSA BOARD POSITION:
I have been a proud resident of Heritage Colony since 2005 and have always appreciated the strong sense of community here. In 2021, when a wild hog issue disrupted our neighborhood, I turned to FCCSA for help – only to find the process complex and time consuming. Rather than wait for a solution, I took actions. Over the past few years, I have attended FCCSA board meetings, Levee Improvement District public sessions and Missouri City council meetings. My persistence paid off and led to the construction of a four-foot iron fence that effectively mitigating the issue. This experience opened my eyes to areas where FCCSA can improve how it serves property owners. As a board member, I will continue to leverage my professional expertise to create clear, effective policies and procedures that ensure residents’ concerns are resolved promptly and more effectively. My goal is to make FCCSA an even better place to live, raise a family, and retire.
