Well 4th of July is upon us! One of the Club’s
premier celebrations not only honors our
country, but honors a sacred institution…family.
I did a little research and looked up the official
definition of family in the dictionary. I found
there are multiple definitions, but the one that
describes our Club the best is this: “a group
of people united by certain convictions or a
common affiliation”.
victims last fall, our upcoming golf tournament
to raise funds for Hospice, and our steadily
growing caddy program where we are impacting
our youth in a positive manner are all proof that
we are a caring family.
Your Club staff is a family…after all we probably
spend more time with each other than with
our biological families! Last month we hosted
our employee pool party, where we invited the
families of our employees to thank and honor
them for their support of the people that serve
you. They are the ones that allow us to do what
we do and along with the membership make the
Club the vibrant place it is.
We are united and committed to making the
Club as strong and healthy as possible. This was
certainly evident last fall when the membership
voted to approve the strategic plan including the
current and future renovations of the Club. It
is evident by the number
of members that donate
their time to serve on the
Club’s Board of Directors
and all of the various
committees that keep the
Club pointed in a positive
direction. It is evident
by our commitment
to the Fort Collins
community…your

The Fort Collins Country
Club is all about family…
it is embedded in the very
fabric of the Club. As
you enjoy the stunning
fireworks display this 4th,
I hope you feel a sense of
pride knowing that the
Club is your home away
from home…an extension
of your immediate family.
