A nearly $ 200,000 Marina del Rey dock repair project for the Department of Beaches and Harbors is a standout example of the company’ s technical expertise and community service. The work included structural float replacement, timber framing, galvanized supports, and composite decking— performed in one of LA’ s busiest launch areas. Working over navigable waters required specialized insurance and strict safety controls.
“ We had to time our work around low tides— not just business hours,” Dawid explains.“ It took planning, skill, and teamwork.” The project was a success— and the public took notice.“ People thanked us. They told us without the repairs, they couldn’ t use the docks. That’ s when you feel the impact you’ re making.”
The agency later invited INSSKI to submit a quote for fabricating floating docks for 80 sea lions.“ One great job opened a new chapter for us,” Dawid says.
Another project close to Dawid’ s heart is the 8,000 SF gymnasium flooring upgrade completed by INSSKI for San Fernando Valley Community College. The gym floor hadn’ t been replaced in over 60 years.
