Sam & Glenda are moving on
After seven years of being the co-editing team for The Missouri Reader, Sam and Glenda will be stepping down and making room for the new team. They published their first issue in the Fall of 2016. Seven years and sixteen issues later, they are turning the reins over to a new team. Sam will become the managing editor for The Missouri Reader. His duties will include helping in the layout and production of the journal. Glenda will continue in her role as an MLA board member and will be on the publications committee. That committee oversees the production of our state journal. Here is their goodbye statement:
It takes the whole village to raise the child, and it takes a whole lot of people doing a whole lot of work to create this journal. Special thanks to the authors, the folks on the editioral review board, the MLA board members and most especially to the readers of our journal. Because of our "word of cyberspace model" of distribution, we have readers from around the world. Jen & Liz- we know we are leaving the journal in good hands. The baton has been passed, and our journal will continue to serve the needs of our readers in the 21st century and beyond. We can't wait to see what the future holds.
