Kathleen’s dedication to serving others truly reflects Goal III of the Goals and Criteria: Schools of the Sacred Heart commit themselves to educate to a social awareness that impels to action. Kathleen’s connections to Sacred Heart Schools run deep. Her mother, Jeanne Hackett, as well as sisters Bonnie and Mary and brothers Roger and Terrance all graduated from Sheridan Road. Her husband, Charles, is a Hardey Prep Class of 1963 alumnus and his brother, Lawrence, and his sister, Mary, are also Sacred Heart Schools alumni. The award was established to honor Sr. Catherine Seiker, RSCJ, who began her relationship with Sacred Heart Schools in 1945 as a teacher. In later years, she worked with the Schools’ volunteers and also served as the business manager.
