1950s
Virginia Maloney Baldelli ASH’ 58 is living in San Francisco, is retired from teaching and serves as a docent at the Fine Arts Museums. Her daughter lives in Mount Kisco, N. Y., and her son lives in Moraga, Calif., both of whom have three children and are busy with volunteer activities.
1960s
Sheila Hammond, RSCJ ASH’ 61 was named Provincial of the U. S.-Canada Province of the RSCJs.
1970s
Dr. Shannon R. Riley A’ 73 received the San Jose State Annual Author Awards 2016 for her book“ Performing Race & Erasure: Cuba, Haiti, & US Culture 1898-1940.”
1980s
Eric Simpson H’ 86 has assumed the role of athletic director at Marist High School in Chicago.
Austin L. Wyman IV H’ 87 and wife Amanda welcomed twins, Austin V and Julianna, born November 7, 2016.
1990s
Christopher W. Manshio H’ 94 and his wife, Bernadette Schoneburg, welcomed a daughter, Franziska Maria, on January 3, 2017.
Emily Dolan A’ 97 and her husband, Bo Bourke, welcomed their son, Robert Dolan Bourke, in July. Baby Robert joins his big sister, Charlotte.
Erin Boileve Hassett A’ 98 and her husband, Kevin, welcomed twins Milo Benjamin and Maisie Jackson on January 11, 2017.
Maureen Callahan Rutkowski A’ 99 and her husband, Nick, welcomed a daughter, Lillian“ Lily” Frances, on January 19, 2017.
Shanna T. Gordon A’ 99 and her husband, Obe, welcomed twin sons Kai Simba Mwari Gordon-Bvute and Ryan Tanaka Odin Gordon-Bvute on January 26, 2017. Shanna and Obe also have a son, Theo, and a daughter, Natalie.
Rebecca Perna A’ 99 received a doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of East London, UK.
2000s
Christine Ahern A’ 02 received the Maryliz deVito Lincoln Generosity and Service Award at the Association of Alumnae and Alumni of Sacred Heart( AASH) national conference in April. The award is given to a“ Sacred Heart graduate, 35 or younger, who has demonstrated outstanding support of and loyalty to her / his local alumnae / i association or to AASH.” Christine is the immediate past president of the Sheridan Road Alumni Association( SRAA).
Elizabeth O’ Brien Garrison A’ 02 and her mother visited SHS in November and donated musical instruments to the school. Elizabeth is working at an architectural firm in Tucson, Ariz.
Molly Oelerich Kidd A’ 03 and her husband, Andrew, welcomed a son, Michael Thomas(“ Mick”), in November 2016.
Lily Quateman Jolly A’ 03 and her husband, Arun, had a baby daughter named Lee on May 1, 2017.
Grace C. Malato A’ 05 is now working for the National Science Foundation in Washington, D. C. She is a Presidential Management STEM Fellow. She received a BS degree in wildlife biology from the University of Montana, Missoula and an MS degree in biology from DePaul University.
Melissa Jordan Angell A’ 05 recently earned a promotion to senior analyst and oversees the financials of 56 locations in the Eastern U. S. and Tri-State regions at WeWork. Her husband, Christopher, remains an integral part of the Jane Street Capital team. Chris enjoys biking around Manhattan, and Melissa is currently training for her second powerlifting competition. Together, they enjoy whole-food plant-based cooking and managing their indoor vegetable garden.
Elizabeth Yates A’ 05 is living in Chicago and works as an ad sales assistant for the Food Network’ s Cooking Channel.
Sterling Yates H’ 08 graduated from the University of Dayton in May 2017 with a degree in civil engineering and moved back to Chicago to work for EXP.
Maggie Connelly A’ 08 has joined the University of Chicago Health Center Development Office.
Cadet William Charles Braman, Jr. H’ 09 graduated from the U. S. Military Academy in May. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in international relations and the Portuguese language. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U. S. Army within the Army Aviation branch.
