Record & Returning Players 

Saddle Brook Lady Falcons Basketball team was happy to have four returning varsity players. Ella Marchesani, Saorise Twomey, Prisha Patel, and Mia Ianneillo all returned and added freshman, Juliana Odum, to the mix. These ladies fought long and hard, working on their skills and plays since July, to make this season successful and memorable. They showed their love for the game while winning their league against Elmwood Park in a riveting performance that ended with a buzzer beater by Ella Marchesani to secure the win.  Coach Joe Colombo returned as head coach. They ended the season with a record of 19-8, improving on last season's record of 14-12.

Ella Marchesani and the One Thousand Points Club 

Ella Marchesani is a beyond well-rounded player who has shown her constant commitment and dedication to the Girls Basketball Team at Saddle Brook High School since freshman year. From being as a starting freshman four years ago, Ella had made her way up the ladder to captain her senior year amongst. She is a constant reminder to the team that hard work really does pay off in the long run. She has shown nothing but love for the team and for the game.  Only five games into the 2022-2023 season, Ella hit her 1,000 point in a tough battle against Nutley. She has a record 1,466 points during her four years at Saddle Brook High School. The falcons wish her nothing but the best of luck when continuing her basketball journey out of high school and into college.
