Freshman Mayrin Pinedo made an immediate impact in her first varsity season, batting .313 with 21 hits, 19 RBIs, and 19 runs scored. She also contributed in the circle, recording 27 strikeouts in limited pitching opportunities. Fellow freshman Katherine Pallotta added 9 hits and 10 RBIs, while freshman Devereaux Belgiovine and Angelina Fisher provided valuable contributions throughout the season.
The Falcons also received strong performances from juniors Sarah Brett and Ava Habermann, along with seniors Victoria Rosado and Gabby Hunt. Their leadership and dedication helped create a positive team culture and contributed to the program's continued success.
As a team, Saddle Brook scored 151 runs, collected 187 hits, and showcased a balanced offense capable of producing throughout the lineup. Combined with outstanding pitching and solid defense, the Falcons consistently competed with some of the best teams in the NJIC and beyond.
Their strong regular-season performance earned the team a spot in the NJSIAA State Tournament, where they proudly represented Saddle Brook and continued the program's tradition of postseason success.
With a talented mix of returning players and emerging young stars, the future remains bright for Falcon softball. Congratulations to Coach Taryn DiGiacomo and the entire Saddle Brook softball team on an outstanding 2026 season.
