Senior Spotlight:
This season, our senior athletes made exceptional contributions to the team’s overall success. Under the leadership of senior captains Gabby Bruce and Maren Kupris, the team achieved a 12–14 record, exemplifying outstanding leadership, resilience, and teamwork. Throughout their high school careers, this senior class has demonstrated remarkable growth, both individually and collectively. When we were freshmen, communication and hitting posed our greatest challenges. Now, the energy and cohesion within our gym have transformed the atmosphere into one of constant enthusiasm and teamwork. Maren Kupris surpassed her previous record of 125 kills, concluding the season with 210 kills and exceeding 300 career kills overall. Sofia Flores delivered an impressive performance in her first season as the varsity starting setter, recording 200 assists. Gabby Bruce and Olivia Lim each reached 100 digs, showcasing their defensive consistency and determination. Lenibel Peña made an inspiring return to the court, contributing passion and perseverance in every match and finishing the season with 24 blocks. We are proud to announce that Maren Kupris has committed to Kutztown University, where she will continue her athletic career at the NCAA Division II level.
Road to next season:
The Saddle Brook volleyball team is already preparing for their next season. They plan on bringing this year's energy, teamwork, and hard work back onto the courts for a successful season next year. With rising underclassmen, the future looks bright for the lady falcons.
