SUCCESS IN LEONIA
Season Accomplishments:
The Saddle Brook Girls Volleyball team delivered a season to remember, finishing with a 12–14 record and claiming second place out of eight schools at the Leonia Tournament. All the players on the court demonstrated hard work, passion, and constant persistence. From start to finish, the team showed incredible dedication, energy, and teamwork both on and off the court. This team has shown constant determination and their accomplishments are worth highlighting. Standout moments included thrilling wins over longtime rivals Glen Rock and Dwight-Englewood, matches that highlighted the team’s growth, focus, and unshakable cohesion. Every player made a difference, whether it was a crucial kill, a smart assist, or a defensive save. Beyond the court, team-building activities strengthened bonds that translated directly into smooth, confident play during games. The team averaged an impressive 17 kills per match, demonstrating consistent offensive firepower, and celebrated memorable straight-set victories against Eastern Christian and Garfield on their respective Senior Days. Overall, this season was a true showcase of talent, determination, and the kind of team spirit that makes Saddle Brook volleyball so special.
