MPV and SUV RV Trends

The MPV segment has evolved into a niche segment where demand and supply remain in harmonious balance. This means without any
significant new models or developments the relatively flat movement in
values seen in Q1 2017 will be the story for the foreseeable future.
SUVs have clearly taken over from MPVs as the body style of choice for
anyone who either finds the traditional hatchback, saloon or estate either
uninspiring or else impractical for their needs.
The general upward trend in SUV RVs values that we saw in 2015 and
2016 is likely to continue although at a much slower rate as increasing
numbers of used vehicles come into the market providing downward
pressure on any increases.
