Minutes of the February and March Meetings:

Vice President: Apology.
Secretary: Refer magazine.
Treasurer: Refer magazine. Advised he will not stand for re-election and asked for someone to come forward to teach them in prepping the financials.
Membership: Membership packs presented to two new members present. Membership fees will be $115 this new club year. Also detailed discounts to 10, 20, and 30 year members. If you are going away over the renewal period, you can renew early. See Virginia. Apology for next couple of meeting as will be away. John Lay to fill in.
Trip & Social: Detailed trips held over the past month and upcoming trips highlighted. Special thanks to Ed for running the Muster. Refer magazine and TeamApp for full details. Bob will be away for the next two months and Tracy Morcom will fill in. Not planning to stand for re-election.
DTU: Ran the first 4WD skills weekend last weekend and it was wet and windy. Called up Ronald Ritchie member 1852 to comment in his experience. Virginia Gilhooly commented as well. Both were impressed with the course. Plan is to run the comprehensive course twice yearly. Thanked the instructors that assisted. Called in all attendees present to stand. Detailed upcoming courses and also commented that the Advanced Course run by FWDV is a competency based course and you have to do a competency based proficiency course as a prerequisite. See Damian if interested. Fred Farrugia is a senior FWDV instructor and advised that the course is similar to ours but with a test/assessment at the finish. Fred commented that unless you require a competency certificate for your employment it is not worthwhile doing.
Members Rep: Thanked those that helped. 132 attendees. Member came down from the NT and gave a history of the Muster. Show & Shine well supported.
Shop: 10 gear keepers bought back to Australia by Damian. $25 each. One NT/NW/NX petrol filter available. Clothing availability from EmbroiderMe detailed and will have samples for next meeting. Caps are around $50 and will investigate further. Official colours is blue/white but other colours can be ordered.

Editor: Trevor advised that he needs more photos and also requested articles on “Show your Paj”.

General Business: Alan Sellars detailed track closures. Also commented on tarp advertising. Tony Jambu advised that ARB will attend the May meeting and detail their new Lynx system. Trevor Smith advised that he is interested in running a fishing trip and called for a show of hands of those interested.
