M hosts some of the world ’ s leading trade show fairs . Flagship events like interpack , drupa and K are internationally recognised , drawing numerous exhibitors and visitors from around the globe . And the good news is that , after the painful backdrop of the pandemic , Messe Düsseldorf is now back on track in all markets .
Fiscal year with record numbers 2023 has been one of the most financially successful years in Messe Düsseldorf ’ s history . Group sales were up by more than 35 %, reaching nearly € 422.5m . After-tax profit also increased significantly , up 56.2 % to € 94.6m . The company hosted 27 events at its home venue in Düsseldorf , eleven of which were guest events . Approximately , 27,000 exhibiting companies participated , 78 % of them coming from abroad .
Covering the six competence areas of industry , trade , medicine , lifestyle , mobility and leisure , the venue-owned trade shows attracted a combined total of 1.1 million attendees . An additional 304,000 participants visited the 847 conventions , corporate events and conferences organised by the company ’ s subsidiary Düsseldorf Congress GmbH .

Left : Messe Düsseldorf the US . The company will have launched a total of 30 new events and lighthouse projects in the period from 2022 to 2025 – a third of them in the City of Düsseldorf . One of the most notable additions will be XPONENTIAL Europe , which represents the largest event acquisition in the company ’ s history .
The future-focused event is all about uncrewed systems and robotics . It will be held for the first time in Düsseldorf 18-20 February , 2025 .
With XPONENTIAL Europe , NRW ’ s state capital will become the centre of autonomous and uncrewed mobility on the continent – a topic that renowned Düsseldorf companies and start-ups have embraced and are propelling forward with urbantransport research projects in the region .
