Kelly Franklin, who has worked with the Betty Griffin Center for 23 years and has been its chief executive officer since 2021, says,“ What you would call clients, we call them participants or survivors. Other agencies are directive – they give a list of services that someone has to complete to be served. Every program we have is voluntary. If someone wants to participate, we have services we try to design for the individual.”
How is customer experience enhanced at these three area social service nonprofits?
Each organization conducts after-service surveys or exit interviews, with an eye to improving their services.
For participants leaving the Betty Griffin Center’ s shelter, Franklin said,“ We ask‘ Were you provided services that were helpful? Is there anything that we could have done better? Did you feel safe while you were with us?’ Those kinds of questions.”
