EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The issue is to know innovative strategies for cognitive development that will
generate significant learning in students of second grade language arts area.
Facing the low academic level, the educational emergency, justifying the need to
take seriously the strategies that manage the students in their learning tasks. This
situation occurs because many teachers do not properly implementing strategies,
know how to get the student and the lack of ongoing training, this implies a delay
of skills, abilities, and skills in learners of between 6-7 years age. Teachers need
to use innovative strategies, if we really want our children to acquire knowledge in
the shortest time and with minimal effort, so they can achieve their goals. The
methodology is analytical, theoretical; and recreational games for this age are
proposed. The symbol has a less self-centered character and transformed in the
direction of imitative representation of reality, the child is closer to reality and the
symbol comes to lose the character of deformation to take an imitative
representation, recreational constructions are to be consistent and adjusted to
reality As a result it is expected that children at this age are ready to identify
objects by color, shape and size. This allows you to find innovative strategies that
facilitates learning and helps to get good returns in basic general education with a
comprehensive education where it joins cognitive and affective. Motivation is a key
factor in learning and this only comes from the student value attributed to
knowledge itself and can range from the intuitive to the symbolic, the manipulative
to the symbolic.
