BREAST CANCER AWARENESS WHAT KEPT YOU GOING THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS? During the process of going through cancer I was in a very comfortable state of denial. It was easier to pretend like it was not happening rather than talk about it with anyone or complain about anything. Especially given that I had the “good kind of cancer,” compared to others around me. So I am not sure that I went about the whole ordeal in the best way. It was really after I had beat cancer that I am most proud of my accomplishments. I really threw 34 l Fall 2014 my heart and soul into giving back to those who gave to me, like Susan G Komen. I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to be successful in this life so I really worked hard to pursue my passion of design. HAS THIS HAD ANY EFFECT ON THE WAY YOU RELATE TO OTHER WOMEN TODAY? I have always related to women well (wink wink) but after going through breast cancer, it has broadened my
