BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
Featuring Interview with
LESLIE EZELLE
According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, one in every eight women will be diagnosed with breast
cancer in their lifetime. It is the most common form of cancer diagnosed in women, as well as the second leading
cause of death among them. It is not, however, their top priority. Around the globe, women are taking back control of their lives and their health, and refusing to let breast cancer rule them. Although it is a killer, breast cancer
is not invincible. With increasing awareness and detection at the earliest stages possible, it can be treated and
ultimately, one day, cured. To reach that goal, women must continue to unite as they have been, staying strong
in mind and soul, so their bodies may follow and persevere.
