Evaluation Q2 - Deception 1 | Seite 4

The Jigsaw

The Director has frequently mentioned a “mix” present among the many film elements and we agree! Deception has it’s own unique tone evident from big things like the storyline and everything fits in like a jigsaw puzzle. If you take a look at the two release posters below you'll notice a number of similarities. Both of them use a metallic font such as to represent the "noir" effect present in the movie. They both also use blue/green tones which are in line with the actual shots from the movie as well as with each other. These tones create the impression of a dark but thrilling film and hence create another common factor.

Website

“I think deception and its many elements come together to create the perfect mix and not just in the film but in all related content too such as posters and websites" - SY

At the bottom of the page we see clippings from the films website. Here you'll notice the film name is once again present along with deception's standard blue/green tone. The metallic Deception logo is once again present and credits have been given to the director, cast and film producer.
