The Blend

h

et in a world where terror floods the streets, Deception sets the tone for the movie with a gritty tale of political corruption, conspiracy, betrayal and ofcourse revenge. It's powerful plot is only matched by it's beautiful cinematopgraphy.

"Deception was one of my finest project. Everything about it was decided and adapted along the way. I tried to create a unique feel for the movie you know. I wanted to make it distinct from the rest" -SY

Ranging from the intimidating Rizwan Hameed to the aloof yet lovable Farhan, Deceptions characters themselves are representatives of the essence of the film. Everything fits to encapture the audience.

Cinematography

For the first half of the film Deception surrounded itself with dramatic dialogues and emotions. Naturally a neo-noir look felt appropraite for these scenes are as shown in the images on the left relevant lighting and shots for used to create the noir feel. The use of formal clothing in all these shots coupled with the fashioned sunglasses and balanced lighting made all these scenes feel "common" making it evident that they are all part of the same story and film. Basically it makes the film recognizable and creates a smooth flow as well as interconnection between all scenes. Such interconnection is also seen in the images on the right where close ups are used to show heavy focus on facial expressions. Since this is done atleast once in every scene it once again creates that common element that creates such a well established "blend" within the film
