With 8 different participating countries , discussions were held about the terms of conflict in each country . We went through views of conflict that might be intrigued by society , economy , gender or traditions and beliefs . Experiencing diversity with people with different ages is interestingly enjoyable in which ideas are exchanged from several perspectives out of different backgrounds and that is actually where the beautiful multicultural mentality is introduced .
We had informative sessions talking about how stereotyping other cultures actually implies the fear of adapting with people from different backgrounds . Stereotyping others or making assumptions about them makes us nothing but close minded humans . While breaking the stereotypes boundaries make us have a better understanding of why some people do this or wear that and why they might eat this but not that . Consequently with accepting the idea of us being different we view the world from different perspectives and that widens our horizon . This project did not only open my eyes on other countries conflicts but also gave me a better understanding of where my own country stands between these global conflicts . And where do I stand as an individual who tries to contribute in solving them .
