THIRD DAY
03/03/2017
On morning of the third day of the EUROPE MEETS
EUROMED project we discovered a nice surprise in the
form of an article in the newspaper. The nice words of the
article in combination with the Italian sun gave us the
energy for another interesting and educational day in the
beautiful domain in Bisceglie. After our daily rounds of
energizers and evaluation moments we started with the
first activity. In this activity we built further on the 7 types of
exclusions and what shapes they take in the different
countries.
For example we learned about the different forms social
exclusion can take depending on whether you live in
Turkey, Egypt, France or Malta. Or how it is to be
geographically excluded in Jordan, Croatia, Italy or
Palestine.
We also had a chance to learn more about the current
state of affairs in countries with political turbulence, from
people who are experiencing this in their daily life.
In the evening we gathered around for the second edition
of “the cultural night” where France, Croatia and Jordan
presented us with the typical food and beverages of their
countries.
People like to say that the conflict is between good and evil. The real
conflict is between truths and lies.
