partners I have met on the web, therefore I have
realized how important it is to be able to work and
exchange ideas and opinions with colleagues who
live and work in contexts different from mine.
and at school thinking about what they had to do in
order to go on with their work and to be ready to
carry out with the assigned tasks.
In view of this approach, eTwinning has acquired a
prominent place in my life as a teacher, who
through the use of ICT, tries to let today’s pupils
understand that school does not need only people
who know, but it requires people who know how to
do.
Thanks to eTwinning, knowledge and skills find a
common denominator to create the Europe of the
third millennium.
That is why interculturality has been and still
remains a topic which I have always been involved
in, teaching and learning my school subject,
Geography. eTwinning has allowed me the
possibility to turn it into a cross- cultural topic, able
to overcome those kilometric distances among the
young which sometimes do not exist, but are often
present in their way of thinking, and looking at their
future which is not always open to what Europe is
asking of today’s young people.

The results that I have achieved in the latest years
such as the national and European Quality Labels,
and not least the European prize in which I was the
protagonist in Berlin in 2012, have represented
moments of great satisfaction with the work I have
carried out, and which have eventually rewarded
those who really believed in this experience.
A note of merit is up for the kids, the real
protagonists, for the long time spent both at home
