activities. In addition, through the various activities,
they developed the sense of solidarity, of teamwork
and co-operation took initiatives and created
original material based on the school subjects. They
improvised, disagreed and agreed, negotiated and
protested and eventually, through the project, they
not only improved their performance as students
but also came out better prepared so as to deal
with any upcoming challenge.
The development of the project was a sequence of
three stages which were designed based on the
three main kinds of movie shots (short shot,
medium shot and long shot). During these stages
pupils learnt the way to edit a movie, add subtitles,
music background , convert a movie to 3D and to
create their own storyboards with their own
scenarios, to be actors/actresses and finally to
shoot their own scene based on a school subject. In
the development of these stages, they also learnt
how the music or the different angle shots can
affect the final result of the movie and how a movie
can affect the common opinion. In addition there
was a fourth stage where pupils from the partner
schools created in collaboration a "treasure hunt"
movie, promoting their city’s landmarks.

Prepare a story board and take short shots based
on the following facial expressions
Anger
Fear
Happiness
Sadness
Surprise
Sickness
Fatigue/Tiredness
Practice on movie maker and production of the first
clip using the above shots. Each pupil edits his own
clip and puts the title of the expression at the
beginning and the actor’s/actress’s name; and “the
end” sign at the end of the clip.
We also had a contest named: ...and the best
actor is … Pupils from Greece voted for the best
French actor/actress and pupils from France for the
best Greek actor/actress.

At this stage students of both countries began to
