French Delicacies César Salad The cesar salad is composed of fresh lettuce, juicy tomatoes tender chicken and crusty croutons sprinkled with parmesan cheese and seasoned with an unctuous salad dressing İngredients for the salad ● ● ● ● ● ● ● 1 lettuce 2 chicken breasts 100 g garlic croutons 150 g grated parmesan cheese 10 cherry tomatoes 1 hard boiled egg fried bacon (optional) Salad Dressing ● ● ● ● ● ● ● 50g grated parmesan cheese 20 cl olive oil 1 crushed garlic 1 egg yolk 3 soup spoon of wine vinegar 1 tsp anchovy paste (optional) 1/2 tsp mustard 1. Cut the chicken breasts into pieces and cook them in a frying pan with some of butter for 5 minutes. 2. Wash and wring out the lettuce. Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half. 3. Put the salad in a bowl with the tomatoes and chicken pieces. Add the croutons and grated fresh parmesan cheese, add some slices of smoked fried bacon and the hard boiled eggs 4. In a mixer put the yolk with mustard, anchovy paste, garlic, and vinegar. Then add the oil. Add the parmesan cheese and mix again until it becomes unctuous. Season with salt and pepper. 5. Pour the dressing over the salad. 12
