Dredhanik - Dessert from Korca - Albania
Dredhanik
This traditional dessert from
the area of Korca, is a rich
and sweet crispy pastry,
sprinkled with chopped
hazelnuts.
Ingredients Syrup
2 packets of foil 1 kg sugar
500 gr nuts 800 ml water
2 tbsp sugar
300 gr butter
200 ml oil
Prescription
First open the foil to dry up. Than we lay the first foil and spray it with butter. After
that we lay the second foil and throw over nuts and sugar and spray with butter. We gather
the foils in winding form and throw out the remaining butter.
We bake it 150 degree for one hour
As soon as we got it out of the aven we throw over the sirup.
