PLAY THE FIRST 9 AT STEYN CITY GOLF COURSE
Hole 1
Par 4 (397, 377, 356, 354 metres. ) Stroke 14
The opening hole at Steyn City offers an inviting
fairway to open the shoulders at from the tee. The
ideal drive will hug the left side of the fairway to cut
down the length of the second shot and, although
there is a bunker guarding the front approaches,
the green is generously sized.
Hole 2
Par 4 (390, 351, 342, 288 metres. ) Stroke 8
Visually intimidating from the tee, any drive flying
over the bunker on the left or missing it to the right
should kick away down into the sloped fairway.
Unless you have hit a very long tee shot down the
left side of the fairway, the second shot will need
to carry some section of the water, although the
green is large and offers a ‘safety first’ area wide of
the putting surface to the left.
