Hole 3
Par 5 (522, 497, 445, 406 metres. ) Stroke 16
The first of the four par 5s at Steyn City is fairly
straightforward, especially with the prevailing wind
at your back. The fairway is wide and relatively free
of bunkers, so two solidly struck wood shots should
get you up within wedge range for your third and
set up a possible birdie chance.
Hole 4
Par 4 (434, 395, 356, 315 metres. ) Stroke 6
A very nicely shaped hole, which even from an
average length drive, offers the chance of par 4 if
you can carry the small stream that winds across
the approaches. You also have the option to stay
well clear of the water hazard on the right by using
the inward-sloping fringe area to the left of the
putting surface to help your ball down towards the
flag.
