Session 25— PK NAEYC Portfolio Development and Expectations Lisa Hunter Location: STOWE— Rm 15
During this session, teachers will work in teams to begin building the digital classroom portfolio by adding photos and detailed descriptions around the NAEYC Standards. The Classroom Portfolio Index will be utilized as a tool to record the standards included in the portfolio.
Session 24— 6-12 Domestic Violence, Teen Dating Violence, and the Effects on Children The Network for Domestic Violence Location: JFK Library
At the end of this session, you will be able to:
� Discuss the services the domestic violence agencies provide. � Recognize the cycle of domestic violence. � List the red flags / warning signs of domestic violence. � Provide examples of stalking behavior. � Identify the signs of teen dating violence. � Describe the effects domestic violence has on children. � Explain resources available to you and the students. � Respond if a student makes you aware that domestic violence is happening in his or her home.

“ Shark Tank” Project Planning Session – Part 1 Jeanne Holmberg Location: EHS E230
This session is designed for all high school teachers interested in participating in the“ Shark Tank” project. This is an interdisciplinary, collaborative project engaging the talents of many high school students, enrolled in various disciplines, in designing and introducing a unique product to investors( ideally) by early June. Each stage of the collaboration will be documented, and all constituents will view the final documentary intended to highlight each stage of the process.
During the morning session, teachers will discuss the various roles each course or discipline will be responsible for, outline a tentative time schedule, and attempt to identify appropriate collaborative times for groups to meet.
