RM142 per employee. 22% of these companies did not incur any cost for such training and
45% spent more than RM20,000 on employees’ training in 2016.
The 21 non-consumables companies that were surveyed invested around RM511,000 in
training 1,196 employees in 2016, averaging to around RM24,300 per company or RM427 per
employee. 14% of the non-consumables companies did not incur any costs for such training,
while about half of them spent more than RM20,000.
