12 of the surveyed surgical/medical gloves manufacturers spent in total RM589,000 between
January and December 2016 on training 6,171 employees, averaging to around RM49,100
spent per company or RM95 spent per employee. 9% of these companies did not incur any
cost for such training and 40% spent more than RM20,000 on employees’ training in 2016.
In other medical consumables segment, the 33 surveyed companies which provided training
to their employees fork out in total RM617,000 within the same period to train 4,357
