This collage shows The Bridge Tavern.
I have experimented with the use
of interconnecting lines here using
different thresholds of the building. I added a
grainy texture in post production which I think
suits the aesthetic. I also used thick acrylic paint
in the corner but muted the harsh colour by
layering tracing paper over it.
A
recurring theme in my collages is linear
forms and lines. Therefore I have used a
lot of straight interconnecting lines. in
a distorted grid formation. With this collage
I also wanted to play with scale by using the
human form to change the perception of the
building. Light bulbs here also shine the light
on the building and explore the theme of light
and darkness.
